This double-treadle wheel can be used in either single-drive mode with Scotch tension or double-drive mode without it. Included with the wheel is an independently tensioned, arched lazy kate. Jumbo Flyer kits expand a spinner’s creative possibilities in two key ways. First, the larger orifice on the jumbo flyer allows for spinning a wide range of yarns, from delicate lace-weight to super bulky art yarn. Additionally, the jumbo bobbin holds twice the capacity of a regular Kromski bobbin. A standard Kromski bobbin already offers 50% more space than most industry-standard bobbins, with a generous 4.2-ounce capacity. The jumbo bobbin doubles that, enabling longer, uninterrupted spinning sessions and skeins with greater yardage—all without the need for frequent bobbin changes!
